How to use
Use Hibiclens the same way you would use a liquid body wash, with a few important precautions. Wet the skin, apply only enough product to lightly cover the area, and wash gently before rinsing well. Keep it away from the eyes, ears, mouth, and genital area.
Allergens:
For external use only. This product can cause a severe allergic reaction that may present with wheezing, difficulty breathing, facial swelling, hives, rash, or shock. Stop use immediately and seek medical attention if any reaction occurs. Do not use if you have a known allergy to chlorhexidine gluconate or any ingredient in the formula, in contact with the meninges, or on the genital area. Avoid eyes, ears, and mouth. Chlorhexidine can cause permanent eye injury and can cause hearing loss if it enters the middle ear through a perforated eardrum. If contact occurs, rinse with cold water right away. Do not apply to deep or extensive wounds. Do not perform repeated cleansing of large body areas unless advised by a clinician. Stop use and consult a physician if you experience irritation, sensitization, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical help or contact Poison Control immediately.
