Fall PM
Routine

The Logic Behind My Fall PM Skincare Routine | Summer is over, officially. With Fall comes all the common skin issues that peak in frequency this transitional time of year like Perioral Dermatitis, Keratosis Pilaris, and Atopic Dermatitis.

This is why I am very purposeful about my PM Fall skincare routine. Transitional seasons like Fall and Spring are THE BEST times of the year to be consistent with retinol use. Priming my skin with the proper cleanser, toner, and eye cream means that my retinol is going to be effective and that I will want to be compliant with it's nightly use. Here are the products I lean on in the order that I like to use them:

1. Revision's Brightening Wash is a gentle but very effective brightening wash, the 2% sal acid provides enough oil control in the Fall while the Vitamin C base helps to revert sun damage
2. RVL Acne Pads are what I use to double cleanse during transitional weather, the high percentage AHA/BHA undoes melasma from my summer sun exposure 3. Empelle Eye Cream is very rejuvenative at night and has great estogen like technology to anti-age this thinnest skin on a woman's body
4. Ritanol is just want my skin needs as the last step of the evening, this medium potency retinol is paired with DNA repair technology to solve for UV exposure that your skin encountered during the day
